Samantha Hagan's Townhall.com Column

Samantha Hagan's life-long interest in politics convinced her that the only way to help make the government better was to get involved. During her college years she volunteered on a number of political campaigns, and served as secretary for the College Republicans, as well as legislative aide to a local delegate in Fairfax County. As soon as she graduated from George Mason University she put her Government and International Politics degree to use by joining the team at the Patrick Henry Center. In her position in the Patrick Henry Legacy Program she works to teach as many people as possible about our favorite Founding Father. Working at the Patrick Henry Center also enables her to make use of her interest in American history in her honorary position of "Office Historian." Although a proud Navy Brat who never spent more than three years anywhere, Ms. Hagan passionately loves her adopted state of Virginia. In her free time, she visits the many area historical sites lovingly preserved by history buffs such as herself.
