Rep. Joe Pitts and Rep. Phil English's Townhall.com Column

Rep. Joe Pitts represents the 16th Congressional District of Pennsylvania. Rep. Phil English represents the 3rd Congressional District of Pennsylvania.

Joe Pitts has done much more in his life than be a congressman. He's been a teacher, an Air Force officer, a small business owner, and a state legislator. He's also a father, a church elder, a stamp collector, and an artist.

Phil English is a Republican and lifelong resident of Erie, Pennsylvania. Prior to his election to the U.S. House of Representatives, English was chief of staff for then Pennsylvania State Senator Melissa Hart. He received a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Pennsylvania and is married to Chris English, a retired educator in the Erie public school system. Ranked as a key "centrist" in the House by National Journal (March 8, 2008), English is a leading voice for economic growth and fair trade in Washington.
