Jackie Gingrich Cushman writes a weekly human-interest column that focuses on current events and political issues from a mom's perspective. This column is published later in the week in the Northside Neighbor in Atlanta, Georgia. Cushman is passionate about improving the world her two children will inherit and teaching them how to make a positive impact through their daily lives.
