As a daughter of former Speaker Newt Gingrich, her perspective has been shaped by a lifetime of work in public service.Cushman and her father have collaborated on articles and op-eds and have recently entered into an agreement with Crown Publishing for a book, "5 Principles for a Successful Life" to be published Spring 2009.Jackie's non-profit activities include serving on The Georgia Advisory Council for the Trust for Public Land, the board of Genesis: A New Life, and the board of the Learning Makes a Difference Foundation.Cushman has been a guest on the Mike Huckabee Show, Geraldo At Large, Fox and Friends, FOX News, the Mitch Album Show, Squeeze Play on Canada's Business News Network, and David Stokes LIVE. Her appearances regarding the Learn and Earn program, part of the LMD Foundation have been run on CNN and NPR.Jackie and Jimmy Cushman, Jr., and their two young children live in Atlanta. Jackie and Jimmy served as the chairpersons for the 2007 Annual Garden of Eden Ball benefiting the Atlanta Botanical Garden.Jackie graduated cum laude from Presbyterian College in Clinton, S.C. She received her MBA from Georgia State University in Atlanta and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. Jackie is a passionate and inspirational speaker, focusing on how to learn and make a difference in our daily lives.</description>
