Holly Carmichael serves as legal counsel with the Alliance Defense Fund and works to protect marriage and the family as a member of the marriage litigation team. After her service with ADF as a contract lawyer, she joined the organization as a full-time attorney in 2010. Carmichael is admitted to the bar in California and the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the 1st and 9th Circuits.
