During college, she also gained valuable political experience interning for the Leadership Institute and Young Britons Foundation in London , England.

After graduating summa cum laude in 2005 with a degree in business management, Allison joined the staff of the Leadership Institute's Campus Leadership Program as the senior campus services coordinator. Allison managed student contacts for the Midwest , planned national grassroots activism campaigns, and helped student groups fundraise, earn media, and plan great events.
