Lorie Byrd was born in Charlotte, North Carolina. She attended North Carolina State University where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science in 1988. She worked as a litigation paralegal specializing in large document cases before becoming a stay-at-home mom to her two daughters.Her interest in politics and the media led to an opportunity to start her own blog, Byrd Droppings. Lorie is also an occasional contributor to ConfirmThem.com.
