    <description>Laura Hirschfeld Hollis describes herself as a pro-life Libertarian. She received her B.A. and law degree from the University of Notre Dame. Laura Hirschfeld Hollis is a Clinical Professor of Business Administration at the University of Illinois.
In her previous lives Laura has been in private practice, was general counsel for a music copyright administration company in Nashville, Tennessee, and spent nearly ten years as a law professor at the University of Detroit Mercy and Michigan State University. She was a frequent editorial contributor to The Detroit News. In 1998, Laura was also among the group of former University of Detroit Mercy law faculty who worked with former Domino's Pizza owner Tom Monaghan to launch the Ave Maria School of Law in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Laura is presently working on a book entitled, "Pandering to Cool: America's Enslavement to a Cult of Adolescence." She lives in Illinois with her husband and their two children.
