    <title>Dick Armey's Townhall.com Column</title>
    <description>For 18 years in the House of Representatives, including time as that body's Majority Leader, Dick Armey fought tirelessly for lower taxes, less government, and more freedom. In 2003, he joined FreedomWorks to lead the same political revolution at the grassroots level and serves as the organization's Chairman.

In the past, Armey has been referred to as an idea machine and a one-man think tank. Armey has written four books, Price Theory: A Policy-Welfare Approach (1977), The Freedom Revolution (1995), The Flat Tax (1996), and Armey's Axioms (2003).

Armey and his wife Susan attend Lewisville Bible Church. They have five children. Armey is an avid bass fisherman and believes in the restorative powers of fishing, where he can put aside the pressures of work and spend time with his wife and children.

      <title>The Entrepreneur's Moment</title>
      <description>The question facing America is: who will lead us out of this economic crisis?

George Washington answered this question for us in a letter to Benjamin Harrison in 1784. He wrote: "A people... who are possessed of the...</description>

      <title>A Taxing Problem</title>
      <description>

The best way to look at the U.S. tax code is like it's a three legged mule. It's ugly, deformed, and doesn't do much good for anybody.
