Allison Aldrich's Townhall.com Column

Allison Aldrich, a junior political science and English major at Virginia Tech, is interning at the Young America's Foundation headquarters in her hometown, Herndon, Virginia. Before entering college, Allison attended the National Conservative Student Conference where she learned more about conservative ideas and how to be active on campus. Since attending her first conference, she has continued to be active with the Foundation, organizing the 9-11: Never Forget Project, hosting a speaker, and arranging several other events that honored Ronald Reagan's positive impact on America. Allison is excited to have the opportunity to intern in the dynamic atmosphere of a conservative non-profit and can't wait to take back what she learns and try to combat the liberal bias of academia.
